Big Brother has just got real.
Feuding houseguest Andrew Gordon, the restaurant manager from Calgary and Paul Jackson,
the consultant from Toronto, have taken their dislike for each other to a whole new level.
In speaking to the other houseguests, Paul has accused Andrew, the new Head of Household, of
making sexist and racist remarks in the house.
On the live feeds Friday night, Jon and Arlie discussed the situation as they sat alone in the big
bedroom.
“Paul has mentioned the sexist comments and yes, some can agree that some of the things
Andrew says can be a bit off-side. That’s 100 percent and that’s gonna be construed however it
is throughout Canada,” said Jon. “It is Andrew. It is how he speaks. It is who he is. You can
construe that any way you want.”
“He doesn’t mean it that way,” Arlie chimed in.
“No, he doesn’t,” Jon agreed saying he has never heard Andrew make any kind of racial
comment.
“It is off-sides for Paul to say that, if he did. It is off-sides completely,” Jon continued.
“Completely,” Arlie agreed again.
Jon is concerned that the dislike Paul and Andrew have for each other and the accusations will
affect everyone’s time in the house.
“It scares the s–t out of me because here we are in the same game. If that’s gonna be thrown
around, that can tarnish the whole season and I don’t like that,” said Jon.
According to Jon, Paul took some shots at Andrew early on in the game and may regret some of
the things he said.
“I feel bad too because I know Paul is a good guy,” Jon continued. “He played this game wrong
from the get-go and he is unwinding a lot and that’s scary.”
Viewers of the live feeds did not see any of the comments or possible confrontations as the feeds
were not active at the time.
As they relaxed outside, Kenny and Andrew discussed Paul. They agree his comments could
have consequences beyond the game. Kenny is stunned that Paul got that upset.
As Andrew pondered who to put on the block; Paul, Adel and Kyle, felt like outsiders. They are
hoping Andrew targets the women or there will be some sort of twist which will save them or flip
the house politics. Scheming in the backyard, they wonder if they could pull maybe Jon or Arlie
into their misfit alliance.
In the War Room, Secret houseguests Allison, Nate and Scott passed the time by watching the
video feeds from inside the house; speculating who is aligned with whom and discussing their
lives back home. For fun, Scott decorated some of the houseguest bobbleheads.
The Secret houseguests must remain in the War Room for a week after which viewers will vote
and decide which one of them will be able to enter the house and play Big Brother.
Who will Andrew nominate for eviction?
