'Big Brother 17' Rumors: Is Vanessa The Fixed Winner In Preparation For 'Poker Face?'

After James got evicted, there are speculations that Vanessa Rousso is the fixed winner of "Big Brother 17."
According to Celebrity Laundry, a lot of fans were disappointed and angry that the house did not flip and save James. This prompted for a lot of fans to cancel their feeds for the rest of the season. They feel that since James is already out, they don't want to see Vanessa win in the reality TV show.
Angry fans have speculations that "Big Brother 17" is a fixed game and that Vanessa is already the pre-planned winner. In fact, one angry fan claimed that he knows someone who happens to be close to one of the cameraman who said that the network's best interest is for Vanessa to win.
The inside source also said that Vanessa is set for a new CBC show titled "Poker Face." It has been said that she was just recruited to be part of the BB17 in order to gain fame and fans for her upcoming show. Things like this is not new since this is not the first time for someone to accuse the reality TV show of manipulating the game.
Five weeks ago, Vanessa was the planned target but she was able to beat the odds and still get to stay in the house which prompted fans to think that the show was helping her. Vanessa was able to get her houseguests to choose and keep her even though she is a bigger threat than that of Shelli.
According to Week 8's Gold Derby, Vanessa has now a leading 30 percent of winning the game compared to John's 28 percent. These predictions are made by users.
With what has been said, do you think the rumors are true that the Big Brother 17 is a scripted show and that Vanessa is indeed the planned winner?

  2. Yes, this season has made it so obvious. I believe James threw the HOH in DE comp. yes, as a fan I do feel like production manipulates the game in favor of the planned winner. The young millennial cast has made for the worst ever, the absence of diversity, whether it's age or ethnicity, turned off faithful BB fans from the beginning.

  3. This show has gone down hill for the past several years. HGs seem to want to further a career and just make it to jury instead of playing to win. HGs are "recruited" which is the polite way of saying "hand picked". Gone are the food and/or luxury comps. HoH room and baskets are no longer a privledge but a group reward. Gone are the fun comps for food or luxuries. Expect the unexpected? More like expect thee obvious. Battle of the block, fan favorite? NOT!! Fans hate it. CBS needs to LISTEN to their to their viewers or the fans will not be there any more. I have cancelled my feeds as have many others. Not sure I will have them next year if things don't change.

  5. I don't think it is "scripped" but Production has a hand in what happens by asking leading questions and making "suggestions" in the Diary Room. This is so wrong!!! BTW if by chance Vanessa does get a new show, I for ONE WILL NOT WATCH IT!!!!

  6. I haven't been happy with the show for several years. Each year they promise new twists and we're left with less. I think the only way to address whether Production is helping the HGs is to allow the DR to be viewed on the live feeds. I've seen a couple of seasons of BBAUS and they allow viewers into the DR. There would be a lot less speculation that way. HGs spend an awful lot of time in there and it's so secretive even the HGs aren't allowed to tell each other about their DR sessions. It's too much secrecy in a game that, through the live feeds, should be more open to viewers. In addition, the comps have become redundant and predictable. It's a bad game when the competitors know what the competition is going to be before they enter the backyard. The comps may be dressed a little differently, but the skeleton of the games remain the same year after year. If, according to Mr. Moonves, this is a bad cast, think about how that happened. Even a bad cast could be made to tow the line in the house. HGs have become more disrespectful to Production each year. HGs break rules and there's no punishment. Like in BBCan why not hand out punishments and not to only the HG breaking the rule, but to the entire house. When you punish everyone for what one person did, that one person will feel some pressure from the remaining HGs. Why HGs are allowed to run rampant over rules and do or say anything they want is beyond me. They have 3 partial days of gameplay with the remaining 4 left with nothing to do. It should be up to Production to find something for them to do. They sleep all day and do virtually nothing when they're awake. This year the house is in better shape than other seasons, but they should be made to do housework, laundry, make up shopping lists for meals. There's a lot of things that, with a little imagination, could make for much better gameplay. I'm hoping to see a better game next year but that entails a good overhaul of the game, looking back at what worked in the beginning and where it went wrong and reimplementing what works and discontinuing what doesn't. And last of all, it's a far better game when viewers have some responsibility in how it's played. There's a segment of the viewership that would like to take part in some of the voting. How can you make this happen? Surely someone at CBS must be responsible for creating this game. It's failing, make it better.

  7. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can actually fall for this? WOW! Research it first perhaps? Use some common sense as well perhaps? The guy who started this rumour got it from a simple search string on the internet using her name, CBS and poker face. He is a troll who doesn't even live in the same country, let alone state as the show is filmed in. He was not near the state in the time frame his so called 'friend' gave him this information. Now, using common sense, do you really believe that the executives of CBS invite a camera technician that works in the house into executive board meetings? Do you really believe that all employees at CBS are privy to executive confidential information? Really? Really!!!!! OK If you buy that, (smh) do you really believe that this so called camera guy would risk loosing his job to tell some casual acquaintance this confidential information? Really? If you do, oh do I have a bridge to sell you! WOW

  8. The last 2-3 years BB has completely changed. I have not had my feeds for the last 2 years because it was a waste of my money and the house guests have become so boring and predictable. Might be my last year of watching. I think BB Canada is far more interesting with plenty of twists and turns. You never know from week to week what they have planned for the house guests.
