This week’s nominations have been revealed. If you don’t want to know, don’t read on.
On the live feeds, viewers learned Ika Wong, the 29-year-old hairstylist from Thornhill and Anick
Gervais, the kooky Reiki Master from Hanmer, are on the block.
Nominated by this week’s Head of Household, Paul Jackson, the 43-year-old consultant from
Toronto, both Ika and Anick are fretting over their future in the game.
Last night, Anick went as far as practicing her eviction speech
Andrew was nominated along with Anick but he won the Power of Veto and saved himself. Paul
picked Ika to take Andrew’s place.
This morning, Anick and Sabrina had a heart to heart chat. With her conscious weighing on her,
Sabrina wanted to explain to Anick why they didn’t get along. Sabrina revealed that Anick’s
personality was too over-the-top and it seemed like she was trying to dominate every
conversation.
“That was just my perception and I am telling you, rather than saying it behind your back,” said
“I appreciate that,” said Anick of Sabrina’s honesty.
Sabrina went on to detail ZucchiniGate. In a past discussion about the delicious summer squash,
Sabrina felt Anick belittled her when she went on and on about having a zucchini so big, she
dressed it up as a baby and made a YouTube video.
Strangely enough, the video does exist
“I am really sorry,” Anick apologized, explaining she wasn’t exaggerating to get attention. She is
just not that type of person.
“I wanted to be honest with you and for me, you came on too strong,” said Sabrina.
Anick said she has tried to tone her personality down. Sabrina confirmed Anick has changed for
“I am not like that anymore, am I,” asked Anick.
“No, and that is why it is so difficult for me now,” said a regretful Sabrina.
“That is what bothers me. We have to make these crazy decisions at the start of the game,” said
Anick.
Sabrina told Anick not to throw in the towel…just yet.
“It is a very hard decision and I am still not 100 percent,” said Sabrina. “I think there is a lot of
people who feel that way.”
