LEWISPORTE — When Big Brother debuted a Canadian version of the popular reality show everyone wondered if a Newfoundlander would make it to the house. This season not one, but three houseguests were proud Newfoundlanders.
Lewisporte native Allison White, who was described as a superfan, was one of the lucky contestants to appear on the show.
“I love Big Brother, I watched it all the time especially since season 12, that’s when I got super obsessed with it. When the Canadian one started last year I was so stoked and I was going to apply but missed the deadline and I just loved it so much. It’s unlike anything else that’s on television,” White said.
She described her love for the game as the number one thing that made her a superfan. She didn’t just watch it because of who was on there, she watched how they played the game.
