Let’s start out here with what you know already: The show premieres on Wednesday, March 5 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time on Slice, which is definitely going to be yet again a competitive timeslot. You’ve got the likes of “American Idol,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Modern Family” all battling against it. But, the smart thing about this date is that it is a week after the two-hour premiere of “Survivor.” This may actually be one of the reasons why the show is starting a good week or so later this year. (“Survivor,” in turn, was pushed back by the Olympics.)
Basically, the schedule for the entire season should be as follows:
1. “Big Brother Canada” will air Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, which makes it very easy to remember. The only night that we’re a little terrified of is Sunday, since it will be up against “The Walking Dead” / “Game of Thrones” at times during the season.
2. The new “Big Brother Canada Side Show” is going to air on Thursdays at 10:00, following the live eviction shows. You can read a little bit more about that here.
3. “Big Brother After Dark” will air every day from 2:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. Eastern. In case you are wondering, this will be a delayed version of events from the house. (Everyone during season 1 was typically asleep by that time.)
4. As for the finale, our crystal ball suggests that either Wednesday, May 7 or Thursday, May 8 will be the end of this season, though it could also end on Sunday, May 11 or even later if the show is extended. There still will be a hiatus of at least a month and a half between the end of this season and the start of the American version.
