One day away now from one of the more interesting evictions in the “Big Brother Canada” house, and for the time being the swing vote certainly seems relatively clear: It’s Nikki. There is a clear group of people willing to keep Dallas, and then also a clear group of people looking to evict him. Cassandra is in part leading the charge now to have Maddy leave, while of course the Jared contingent wants to ensure that Dallas is taking him out.
As for how Nikki finds herself right in the middle, it’s interesting. As of yesterday, she was voting to evict Maddy, but has since seemingly changed or mind … or is at least considering having Tim make the final decision instead. Mitch has promised to look after her no matter what, and what we’re seeing here is an interesting move in which he is trying to take more ownership now of someone who has been considered extremely close to Tim this whole time. If Mitch manages to secure Nikki’s trust more so than Tim, it’s a big turning point in what we think is a cold war between the two guys.
Ultimately, what Tim may have made the mistake of is spending so much time with Cassandra over Nikki that he runs the fear of losing her; not only that, but there is another potential risk that other people work against him now that he is coming out of power.
Granted, there is still a big intangible here known as Loveita / Kelsey, who are entering the game with the knowledge that Mitch and Tim are the two best players. We’ll see what happens.
