After five weeks of social game, Jason Tyler Roy has finally met his defeat. After the house was initially told that the votes were to be against Austin, Vanessa made a last minute decision to backdoor Jason. Even though the 25-year-old Massachusetts native continued to play the game and sway the house to vote to keep him, the "oh my lanta" houseguest was evicted. We had a little chat with Jason to hear just how he feels about his experience and the people he lived with.
ET Canada: Now I know you told Julie that you don't regret a thing about how you played the game, but if you were able to go back and change just one thing, what would it be?
JASON: My ability to really pretend to like these people that I didn't like. That was probably the most difficult thing for me. In normal life you can just avoid people you don't get along with and in there, you're suppose to pretend you do get along with them.
ET CANADA: After being put up as the replacement nominee, it seemed as though you made it your goal to show Shelli and Clay's true colours to the rest of the house. Do you think you pulled it off?
JASON: I think Shelli and Clay sabotaged their own game this week, I think they really played their cards putting me up and it really made my side of the house see where they really laid at. So even without me doing that much, I think they really called themselves out and will remain a target with my people forever.
ET CANADA: Plans in the Big Brother house rarely go as planned. For instance, Austin was initially the main target of the week. Do you think it was a silly move keeping the emotional wildcard (Austin) in the game?
JASON: I think it was silly to keep Austin, Austin is playing this "I'm not playing to win any more, I just want to get to jury house to be in love," he's just trying to get to jury house to get some (action). He is absolutely ridiculous, he is someone that I didn't relate with the entire time I was there, so his emotional stance would not have worked with me. But Vanessa is a very emotional person and so he definitely pulled on her heart strings. If I was in her spot, I would say it's not smart to keep him, he's going to act like he's not going to play, but everyone knows if you're in there, you're playing.
ET CANADA: After living with the current houseguests for several weeks, you - more than anyone - would have a better idea of who may win the game. So who do you think the winner of BB17 will be?
JASON: I mean I would love to say my people would have a shot at winning. I would love to say Meg and Jackie have a shot at winning, but they are definitely way out numbered at this point. So I would say some of the best shots for winning are people like Vanessa or Johnny Mac. I would not be surprised to see those two in a final situation.
ET CANADA: You seemed to have a pretty good relationship with several of the houseguests. Is there anyone in particular you are excited to see again? Also who do you NOT want to see?
JASON: Honestly I'll probably be excited to see everyone, I mean I don't know if I'll be excited to see these twins or Austin, but I mean, when it comes down to it I will even be excited to see Audrey. We all have lived together and had a sort of strange experience together and whether we got along in there or not, I definitely still have some relationship with all those folks.
