Here are your 5 biggest Big Brother celebrities, Vanessa Tops it

With 17 seasons completed and an 18th in the works, Big Brother has had a wide array of personalities compete on the show. Their goal: survive weekly eviction ceremonies to become the last houseguest remaining. Viewers who watch the show religiously can attest that in 17 seasons, Big Brother has had its fair share of good, bad, and crazy players. More than 200 players have left their mark on the show, with some being more memorable than others.
These are some of the contestants worth remembering:
1. VANESSA ROUSSO
Vanessa already had some fame and followers prior to entering the Big Brother house due to her career as a professional poker player. As a matter of fact, prior to entering the season Rousso was ranked in the top five women in poker history (in terms of all-time money winnings). On the show, Vanessa controlled the majority of her season; she founded the “Sixth Sense” alliance, made numerous deals, won several important competitions, and was responsible for nearly every eviction that took place. Her competitive nature, strategic positioning, and constant manipulation earned a spot as one of the greatest female houseguests in Big Brother history.

2. DERRICK LEVASSEUR
This Rhode Island police officer won Big Brother 16, playing a nearly flawless game in the process. On the second day, Derrick formed an alliance  with Cody “the Hitmen” Calafiore.
He also joined “Team America” with two other housemates, where they won $75,000 for completing tasks assigned to them by viewer votes. In addition, Levasseur won Head of Household four times throughout his season (he was the sole HOH in three of the four), and was the first contestant since Big Brother 3 to avoid nomination for the whole summer until the Final Three.
When there was finally an opportunity for Derrick’s potential eviction, his alliance prevailed and Calafiore brought him to the final two. However, many contestants viewed the partnership between Derrick and Cody as a “Batman and Robin” type of relationship (Cody being Robin), so despite Cody saving him when it mattered most, the final jury voted 7-2 in favor of Levasseur.

3. AUSTIN MATELSON

Matelson is another contestant that already had a little bit of fame prior to entering the Big Brotherhouse. He is a WWE NXT superstar who goes by the ring name Judas Devlin. While on Big Brother 17, where he placed fifth, Austin was part of the “Sixth Sense” alliance, and had an ongoing “showmance” with twins Julia and Liz. He was also the second houseguest Big Brother history to go 78 days without touching the chopping block. However,he was re-nominated, blind-sided, and ultimately eliminated by Vanessa Rousso in Week 12. After being eliminated, Austin was extremely sour towards Vanessa and made it his goal to ensure that she did not win the game. Since the show ended, he has actively been pursuing a serious relationship with Liz stating, “This game made me realize what I wanted and it’s Liz.”

4. CLAY HONEYCUTT

If there is one contestant from Big Brother 17 that female viewers will never forget, its Clay Honeycutt. He was a southern heartthrob from a small town in Texas who controlled the first five weeks of his season. Prior to going on the show, Clay played NCAA Division I football for Texas A&M, and graduated in a semester early in 2014. Despite claiming that he was smarter than his fellow houseguests, he was often caught mumbling to himself, and will be remembered by his fellow houseguests for saying, “I’m a furless bat.”
Ultimately, he’s best remembered for his “showmance” with Shelli Poole. When the two lovebirds eventually ended up on the chopping block together, Clay asked his fellow houseguests to evict him rather than Shelli, which they did.

5. ZACH RANCE

There are several reasons why you might remember Zach from Big Brother 16. For one, he bounced around from alliance to alliance, beginning with “The Bomb Squad” (which he eventually blew up), and later joining both the “The Detonators” and “Los Tres Amigos”. In addition, he managed to avoid eviction for nine weeks despite frequenting the chopping block, and grew popular with the fans for his zany personality and his (seemingly romantic) relationship with fellow contestant Frankie Grande.
