“The hunters have become the hunted.”
Those were the foreshadowing words from bespectacled golden Goddess Big Brother host Julie Chen.
Mrs. Les Moonves, the President of CBS, also insinuated that someone during jury could come back.
Yep, Big Brother keeps getting better and better with each week.
It’s one of the best seasons in recent memory. It’s about time… after two disappointing seasons.
And, once Big Brother nixed the universally loathed Battle of the Block twist – surprise – ratings skyrocketed.
Which is probably why CBS aired an entire season recap Thursday night to catch up viewers up on one of the most addictive seasons this franchise has ever aired. (Even Da’Vonne Rogers made an appearance during the show’s new #BigBrotherSoundOff segment.)
Choosing love over a half million dollars, footballer Clay Honeycutt sacrificed his game for his love, Shelli Poole. And he was voted out in a unanimous vote.
In a season of firsts, it’s the first time in Big Brother history where someone has quit the game for love.
Clay made the right decision because Shelli is a much better Big Brother player than he is.
Sometimes, you have to sacrifice yourself for your team.
While polarizing, I love gamers Shelli and Clay: they are one of my favourite super showmances in Big Brother history.
I will never forget how Clay told Audrey Middleton – point, blank, and the period -- how crazy she was; or how he called out Austin Mattelson for his betrayal.
Clay made for must-see feeds. Especially today when he almost got into a fistfight with James Huling.
And it’s not just because he’s one of the most beautiful and loyal men on earth.
There is a lot of sexism involved when it comes to “Slay:” definitive and beloved super showmance Jordan Lloyd, who is 28, and fiancée Jeff Schroeder, who is 38, have never been described as father and daughter like Clay and Shelli have as mother and son.
Proving recruits may be better contestants than super fans, Clay and Shelli played the game so well… and hard.
Yes, they made a mistake by voting out their biggest ally, Audrey.
Moreover, choosing to keep fan favourite Jason Roy over hated bully and creep Austin last week proved deadly for the super couple.
But Clay will be redeemed: The fact that the house chose to keep super threat Shelli over pushover Clay was a major mistake – and they are all going to regret it.
Mark my words: A woman is going to win this game -- either Shelli or Vanessa.
Last year’s winner, Derrick Levasseur and Cody Calafiore were a perfect catch-up segment this week since Cody chose love over a half of a million dollars, too.
Nicely done, CBS.
This week’s HOH endurance competition is still ongoing. Who will win?
It’ll be game changer, regardless!
