Sindy & Bobby locked in vault

Is Big Brother Canada offering up an indecent proposal?

On Monday morning’s live feeds from the Big Brother house, viewers were shocked to see Sindy, the assistant cruise director from Toronto, and Bobby Hlad, the rock climbing instructor from Oakville, locked in the Big Brother vault with two beds, a countdown clock and two buttons.

The scene brought back memories for many Big Brother fans who saw the same scenario play out on Big Brother UK in its 2012 season.

In that series, house guests who received the least nominations that week participated in a special task. Sara, Conor and Luke had to live in a completely white room furnished with three buttons and a countdown clock.

Big Brother shook things up a day after the task began announcing out of the blue that the house guests had one minute for one of them to voluntarily leave the room and go back into the house. Sara agreed to leave.

On the third day, Conor and Luke were presented with a devious decision to make. One of them would receive a pass to the finale while the other would walk out with money taken out of the overall prize fund.

The counter started at “£0” and began to steadily increase. Conor and Luke were given one minute to press their buttons if they agreed to take the money shown but in doing so they would also agree to leave the house and the game immediately.

With five seconds left, they both hit their buttons, but Luke hesitated. Conor won £50,000 and split the scene leaving Luke and the other house guests furious and confused.

On the BigBrother Canada feeds, Sindy and Bobby were shown discussing their situation but were unsure of why they were stuck in the room.

“How often do you think we get bathroom breaks?” Bobby asked Sindy.

“Probably only when we really need to go,” Sindy replied. “They will take us.”

Since there were no keys, Sindy didn’t think the task had anything to do with the safety deposit boxes around them.

“All I know is, buttons are not a good thing,” said Bobby

To cast even more mystery on the happenings, eagle-eyed viewers have noticed thatBig Brother After Dark is not airing this Tuesday and Wednesday but will resume on Thursday.

Some fans believe that the changes in the TV schedule could have something to do with the task and might mean the live feeds will be going dark for a few days, even though there has been no official announcement.

What does it all mean? Only Big Brother knows for sure.

The next episode airs Monday at 8 p.m. on Global TV, with more episodes Wednesday and Sunday.
