Big Brother Canada’s season one winner Jillian MacLaughlin and ex Emmett Blois (he was dubbed Jemmett by fans) were among the final batch of teams announced to compete when Season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada returns June 28 at 8 p.m. on CTV and CTV GO.
MacLaughlin and Blois dated after their run on Big Brother Canada, but have recently parted ways.
“We both wanted to apply with other partners, but we knew deep down we could only compete with each other,” says Emmett.
Best pals and business partners Kelly and Kate, and a Frankie and Amy – a lively mother-daughter hair styling duo from Aldergrove, B.C. – round out the teams that were announced Thursday.
Current Mrs. Universe, Ashley Callingbull, who is teaming up with her stepdad, was announced as a competitor earlier this week.
The fourth season will again be hosted by Olympic gold medallist Jon Montgomery.
