Three former “Big Brother 17” houseguests will make an appearance on “The Bold and Beautiful” Halloween episode.
Entertainment Weekly shared some photos of B&B’s October 30 episode with Meg Maley, John McGuire, and James Huling wearing their spooky Halloween costumes.
Maley, McGuire, and Huling were among the favorites on the last season of “Big Brother”. Huling won the America’s Favorite Houseguest prize at the season finale, Examiner wrote.
EW noted that it has been a tradition at CBS to allow “BB” contestants to make cameos in their soaps.
“B&B” supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk told Daytime Confidential, “It’s become a fun tradition every year to have Big Brother Houseguests on The Bold and the Beautiful. It started with fan favorites Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd and has continued as sort of an unofficial Big Brother consolation prize.”
Just recently, “Big Brother” season 17 contestant Jason Roy also made an appearance on the soap. He played a delivery man who delivered pizza to the Spencer beach house. He got the shock of his life when Ivy and Wyatt answered the door.
In an interview with Daytime Confidential, Roy admitted, “It was surprising and shocking to even get on the show that I’m a superfan of, let alone on the biggest soap opera in the entire world!”
Roy said appearing in the longtime drama is like a dream and his life has been crazy since his cameo role.
“I’m still waiting to wake up!” he said.
The next season of “Big Brother” will air next summer on CBS.
Meanwhile, on “The Bold and Beautiful” this week, Nicole will make a tough decision for her sister.
Maya asked Nicole to be a surrogate for her and Rick since Maya’s being a transgender means she can’t actually have a child with him.
However, Nicole’s new love, Zende, thinks Maya’s request is a bad idea.
“The Bold and Beautiful” airs weekdays on CBS.
