Big Brother's first transgender houseguest, Audrey Middleton, may have made history but she didn't go on to win the game.
Her aggressive game-play and rule-breaking made her a target and, in an overwhelming vote, she is the latest evictee from the Big Brother house.
"If I could do it again," Middleton tells ET Canada in an exclusive interview. "I would keep it purely social and I would let the game come to me."
Still, she considers herself a winner.
"I really wanted to show myself that I had the courage to do it," Middleton says. "For me to not only prove it to myself but exemplify the willingness and the courage to other transgender people is really an amazing opportunity."
As a Big Brother contestant, Middleton had no communication with or exposure to the outside world, so she's just learning of Caitlyn Jenner's ever-growing influence and popularity (she entered the Big Brother house just a couple of weeks after CJenner's famous Vanity Faircoming out).
"I do hope that Caitlyn is speaking out and pointing out the things that are important to understand about a very suppressed minority," Middleton says. "I think she's the perfect person to do it."
