Although the Canadian Screen Awards gala won't be held until this Sunday, winners in the Television & Digital Media categories were announced today, and an array of Shaw Media's programming took home awards.
Among the winners:
* History Channel documentary Tales From the Organ Trade won four awards, including the Barbara Sears Award for Best Editorial Research.
* HGTV's Income Property won two awards, including Best Lifestyle or Talk Program or Series.
* Global's Big Brother Canada won for Best Production Design, while Big Brother Canada Digital won for Cross-Platform Project - Non-Fiction.
* Global National took the honours for Best National Newscast, while Global BC news anchor Chris Gailus won for Best News Anchor, Local.
* History Channel's Ice Pilots NWT took the honours for Best Factual Program or Series.
